Last stop…Oslo!

The last stop on our Spring Break was Norway.  The whole trip was planned around our arrival here. We had some pretty special people to visit, so our stay was extra fun thanks to my brother-in-law Artur and his partner Randy. We got an insider’s tour of Oslo and had a great time experiencing their new life in Norway.  Many thanks to them for their hospitality and love.

A few highlights…

Next Up…Copenhagen

I’ve been blogging about our Spring Break vacay in Europe. After Amsterdam we headed north to Copenhagen. I was so happy to share another one of my favourite cities with my family.  There is something so grand and sophisticated about Copenhagen.  I am consistently in awe of Danish design. It’s evident in everything from shopping bags to furniture to urban transportation.  We meandered parks, found more playgrounds, toured the National Museum of Denmark and soaked in the sunny seaside community of Christianshavn

Spring Break - Part 2

The last few days in Amsterdam included roaming the streets in search of the best Dutch pancakes, browsing bookstores, ducking cheese stores to “sample” the local fair, cycling through Vondelpark, visiting the Anne Frank House, and intermixing our time between a variety of museums and playgrounds. We even managed to surprise the girls with a trip to Efteling (a Dutch amusement park).
